War in Ukraine loosens Western restrictions on remotely operated munitions
Following in the footsteps of Lithuania, Estonia and Italy, France has now declared its intention to obtain loitering munitions, putting an end to years of standstill on ethical grounds. The United States has also relaxed its legislation to allow the export of this military equipment.
